We don’t take giving lightly.
Each gift is received with deep gratitude and managed with transparent, responsible stewardship. We are committed to treating every dollar as an act of trust—and to using it wisely to serve God and our sacred community.
- Giving statements are provided annually at tax time to all donors with a mailing address on file.
- SEUCC operates under professional financial systems, including a full-time finance department consisting of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a Senior Accountant.
- Every dollar is treated with care, and your generosity directly fuels meaningful ministry and mission.

Understanding Your Gifts
It’s a reflection of trust, transformation, and shared mission. Below are the core areas where your gifts can be directed, depending on how you feel called to give:

Tithes are recurring gifts from Ministry Partners who commit a specific percentage or set amount of their income to support the church. These regular contributions help us maintain a strong foundation—funding staff, worship, formation, care, and operations across our growing sacred community.
Offerings are one-time or occasional gifts—perfect if you’ve been blessed by a worship experience, moved by our mission, or simply want to express gratitude to God. Every offering helps us expand our impact.
Brave New World is SEUCC’s digital campus and innovation platform. Gifts designated here support livestream worship, online small groups, digital formation tools, tech upgrades, and creative storytelling efforts that allow us to do church well beyond the walls. It’s how we live our mission in a digital age.
The Bless, Inspire, Nurture (BIN) Food Pantry serves hundreds of families each month across 27 ZIP codes. A gift to the BIN helps us purchase fresh groceries, partner with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, and extend radical hospitality to our neighbors. You can give directly to support this hunger initiative.
The Pastor’s Vision Fund is a discretionary giving area overseen by our Senior Pastor. It allows SEUCC to respond quickly and faithfully to unbudgeted opportunities—from helping individuals in crisis to seeding creative ministry efforts aligned with the Spirit’s leading. These gifts provide flexible, Spirit-guided support wherever it's needed most.
