At South Euclid United Church of Christ, we believe in putting faith into action—especially when it comes to serving those in need. That’s why we created the B.I.N. Food Pantry, a hunger initiative that reflects our congregation’s deep desire to Bless, Inspire, and Nurture the hungry in our surrounding communities.
Every second Saturday of the month from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, we open our hearts—and our parking lot—to feed our neighbors. This is a pull-up and pop-your-trunk operation: no need to leave your car. Our team of volunteers will load it with groceries, at no cost, on a first-come, first-served basis.
The B.I.N. Food Pantry currently serves 225–250 households per month across 27 different ZIP codes. Guests must provide identification and proof of residency. Rain, snow, or shine—we serve in all weather conditions, because hunger doesn’t take a day off.

It takes nearly 100 volunteers each month to power the pantry—from packing to prayer, logistics to love. In partnership with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, SEUCC is able to stretch every dollar further, offering nourishment with dignity and compassion.
According to statistics from the Cleveland Food Bank, nearly one in five Cuyahoga County residents lives in poverty, says Rev. Courtney Clayton Jenkins.
“Our congregation feels called to help the hungry, as instructed in Deuteronomy 15:11: ‘Open your hand to the poor and needy neighbor in your land.’”
Whether you need groceries or want to help distribute them, the BIN is a space where faith meets action and love looks like service.
