At South Euclid United Church of Christ, we believe that young people are not just the future of the church—they are the right now. That’s why we created Elev8tion Youth Ministry, a vibrant space where children and teens from kindergarten through 12th grade can explore faith, build friendships, and discover their God-given potential.

Our mission is simple:
To lead young people into a relationship with Jesus Christ and nurture their spiritual, educational, physical, emotional, and social growth. We want every young person to become an effective witness for Christ—in their home, their church, and their community.

A Safe Church for Every Child

Your child’s safety is our priority. SEUCC follows the United Church of Christ Safe Church Policy, which applies to all ministries for children and youth. Every staff member and volunteer working with minors has completed a national background check and receives mandatory safety and sensitivity training.

We are committed to creating a church where every child feels safe, supported, and spiritually seen.

When We Meet

Youth Church takes place on the 2nd and 4th Sundays during the worship hour. Each session is packed with age-appropriate lessons, fun activities, and authentic conversations led by trained and caring leaders.

Elev8tion is divided into four age-specific groups to create spaces that meet each child where they are:

• Lynks – Kindergarten to 2nd Grade
• Bridges – 3rd to 4th Grade
• Fusion – 5th to 7th Grade
• Elev8tion Teens – 8th to 12th Grade

Each group is designed to grow faith through connection, conversation, and community—and to make sure our young people know they are seen, loved, and empowered.

Wiggling Worshipers

A sacred space for our youngest worshipers (6 months–5 years)

Wiggling Worshipers is where faith begins for our littlest ones. This joyful, nurturing environment is designed for babies and preschoolers to explore faith through movement, music, storytelling, and play. Open every 2nd and 4th Sunday, Wiggling Worshipers begins 30 minutes before worship and closes 10 minutes after service ends.

Children are welcomed by loving, trained volunteers who help them feel safe, seen, and engaged—so parents can participate in worship knowing their child is in caring hands.

Partnering with Parents

We believe the most powerful ministry happens in partnership. That’s why we offer Parent Connection Gatherings, family events, and open communication. Whether you’re brand new or a longtime member, we want to walk with you as you raise your child in faith.
